I've been taking measurements from various battery supplies and EV configurations for around 4 years. The goal is to get a sense of the battery performance on different platforms. It's been very informative. Each platform has its own characteristics for performance and of course uses different amounts of power over the same course of terrain. Some of the bikes reach efficiencies as low as 12 watts per mile, making a 12 AH (~420 watt/hours) battery have a theoretical range of 35 miles. Most interesting is the value of performance of a platform vs. its consumption. Course surface has a big effect on the outcome. So one can say that these applications differ greatly but are all viable for transportation when cost and performance are seriously considered. chrg, dischrg, watts, time, miles, etc. One example of this is a 3.5 mile course with elevation change of ~900 feet can be completed by the EX1.AWFS(48volts) in 7:30 seconds with an ~speed of 27 miles/hour with a consumption u...
